I’ve updated my NASCAR page script to get the 2007 driver standings! Went to the first oral surgeon visit today to mainly complete paperwork and talk about what needs to be done and to set the actual date of the surgery. I’ve set the date for March 8th.
Decided to get Snakes on a Plane. Actually, I’ve had it for a couple weeks now. On an icky note, went to the dentist today (what a lovely thing to do on Valentines day, LOL) and I get to go visit an Oral Surgeon to have 6 teeth removed. I’ve had crappy teeth since I was a kid…a genetic thing. The past few weeks things have gone downhill in my mouth and it’s started bugging me. Once again as I am typing this, I keep thinking about setting up a blog on my site. Wonder if I should put off really looking for a job til after I get over the mouth surgery.. since it will take a week to get over all the drugs I’ll most likely be on afterwards (anti-inflamatory stuff). I’ve done this before so I know what to expect. Joy, joy! 🙂
Oh yeah, I changed the top part of this page a bit…trying out a new weather sticker. Man, it’s 16°F right now… brrrrr!
Well.. meant to do some work our Pelicar Campaign site; however, with the combination of just installing Internet Explorer 7, messing with the pictures I took (see below), and then for some reason got to messing around with a Now-Playing Winamp Plug-in, not much got done with it hehe. The fruits of messing around with that plug-in can now be seen on my Entertainment page where it shows the current song I am playing in Winamp along with several previous songs.
I did at least create most of the character information table that will store the information. Now it’s time to write the web interface for that part.
With the current ice storms going on here, I decided to take some pictures and created a new photo album. You can see them here.
A new year has begun so I’ve moved last year’s news to the archives page. I kept the last December entry on the front page as well. I suppose I should go ahead and mention that since mid-November I have been unemployed. 😥 At the moment I am sort of taking a paid vacation. 🙂 Since people from work still visit this site on occassion that’s all I’m going say about the matter. I’ll get serious about looking for a new job next week. I’m in that odd mid-life crises phase kind of thing. There’s nothing keeping me in Stillwater, OK now.. but moving is such a pain in the ass and I have a lot of crap now, LOL. 🙂 When I moved into this apartment I didn’t have very much because my old one had been robbed. I suspect the best odds will lie in the Oklahoma City area.. I would prefer there to Tulsa. The Edmond/Oklahoma City area would put me closer to the folks and several of my friends that I get together with each month to play Pelicar.
