Just updated my blog to WordPress v6.0 which was a substantial release most of which seems to revolve around block themes. As always, I backed up my files and database first. I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. As I usually do, I updated the local copy on my PC before updating the blog here.
My TwentyTwelve parent theme was updated to version 3.7 but none of the changes affected my child theme, so I didn’t have to do anything with it. They still haven’t improved the selected text color selection so it’s not hidden slightly behind the right-side settings bar beyond what 5.9.2 did. I made this post about it: [Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced)] Text Color Custom Popup below Side Bar. Other than that, the update seems to have gone well. 🙂
