Just updated my blog to WordPress v6.5 ( known as “Regina” ) which contain a number of feature updates and performance improvements. I’ll let you read the release notes to find out more. As always, I backed up my files and database first. I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. As I usually do, I updated the local copy on my PC before updating the blog here.

My TwentyTwelve parent theme was updated to version 4.2. Comparing files with the previous version, I found out I did not have to worry about anything affecting my child theme. So far the update seems to have gone well. Granted, I haven’t tried much of the new stuff out yet. 🙂
