I just updated my blog to WordPress v4.9.1 which contains a number of security and bug fixes. As always, I backed up my files and database first. I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. Update seems to have gone smoothly. 😃

I have automatic updates disabled so I can do this beforehand. While the Twenty Twelve theme was updated to version 2.4, I didn’t have to change anything in my child theme. So far it seems this update has gone smoothly. 🙂
